ICCD Clubhouse Careers
ASSISTANT UNIT LEADER POSITION AVAILABLE
Beach House, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is the only ICCD member clubhouse in Virginia. We are an intentional community organized to provide support, rehabilitation, and opportunities for recovery to adults with serious mental illness.
We are currently seeking to hire an Assistant Unit Leader for one of our work units within the clubhouse (unit to be determined).
Responsibilities: Assist Unit Supervisor providing supervision, direction, and training to unit staff, monitor performance, evaluates unit staff performance and provides on-going coaching and counseling to unit staff; assists in the day to day operations of the work unit including scheduling of unit staff, emergency situations, participation in Program Development meetings as needed; promotes clubhouse philosophy by trainings, engaging and working alongside members to ensure completion of unit duties; ensures the timely and accurate completion of all required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field such as sociology, psychology, social work, education, etc; one year experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.
Preferred Qualifications: Three years experience working with individuals with serious mental illness; supervisory experience preferred; One year experience working in a clubhouse/psychosocial rehabilitation setting preferred; computer experience preferred

This is a City of Virginia Beach government position. Salary begins at $37,545. Benefit package includes medical/dental coverage, retirement, personal and sick leave, etc.
