Annual Report

We hold firm to our belief that every community in the world must one day have an ICCD Clubhouse, offering people with mental illness a safe place to belong; a place to contribute; a community of friends and colleagues; access to good homes, education, and employment. This vision inspires the work and people of the ICCD as we work tirelessly to make it a reality.
Some of the highlights from our work in 2009 include:
As of year-end, there are ICCD Clubhouses in 330 communities, in 27 countries around the world. In 2009, 15 new Clubhouses joined our international association of Clubhouses and have begun the work of serving the men and women with mental illness in their local communities.
We have continued to expand our work of providing access to hope and opportunity to people with mental illness around the world, even in the face global economic challenges.
- In 2009, approximately 125 Clubhouses took part in various training opportunities offered by ICCD’s global network of training bases.

to their members. In all, 46 Clubhouses were certified in 2009, including Schwalbennest, which became the
first certified Clubhouse in Germany, and Polaris House, which became the first certified Clubhouse in Alaska.
